Retail Prices At Pharmacies
If you have no insurance and you're paying out-of-pocket,
CALL AROUND because pharmacies can charge very different prices for the same drug.
Costco: You don't need to be a member to use the Costco pharmacy
and get lower retail prices for some drugs. Non-members pay an
additional 5% fee.
K-mart: Has both
$5 (30-day) or
$10-$15 (90-day) generic/discount drugs. Also has
$5-$25 women's health drugs for
contraceptives, osteoporosis, vitamins, breast cancer, hormone replacement,etc.
Longs Drugs:
One of the most widely found pharmacies in Hawaii.
Walgreens: There's a program
where you pay an annual fee of $20 individual/$35 family to receive discounted drug prices for
many generic and brand-name drugs.
Walmart $4/$10 generics: - Has hundreds of generic drugs between $4-$10.
