Retail Prices At Pharmacies

This page is for people who have no insurance or need a drug not covered by insurance. It's important to know that retail prices for the SAME drug can be very different between pharmacies. We encourage people to shop around by calling pharmacies. We've listed pharmacy websites below (alphabetical order):

Costco: You don't need to be a member to use the Costco pharmacy which can have lower retail prices for drugs. Non-members pay an additional 5% fee. For their contact information, click on their link. They also have a retail pharmacy online - the prices online are NOT necessarily the same as local prices at Costco in Hawaii.

K-mart: Has a discount/generics program that falls into three categories: Longs Drugs: One of the most widely found pharmacies in Hawaii. Click on the link to find their contact information.

Walgreens: There's a program where you pay an annual fee of $25 individual/$35 family to receive discounted drug prices for many generic and brand-name drugs. Click on the link to find out more information.

Walmart $4/$10 generics: They have a list of hundreds of generic drugs that cost $4 (and sometimes $9) for a 30-day supply or $10 for a 90-day supply. The drugs that are $9 for a 30-day supply are between $10-$27 for a 90-day supply. Click on the link to see these lists.
