About Us
We created the Prescribing Guide as a free resource for Hawaii’s providers so that they can easily find which drugs are covered
(and more affordable) for their patients.

What about other health plan formularies?
We are pilot testing adding other commercial health plan formularies to the website including HMAA, UHA, UHAA, Summerlin, Tricare, United Health Insurance,
Kaiser, and Aetna.
How about a hardcopy of the Prescribing Guide?
We made a hardcopy of the Prescribing Guide available for free in 2007 through a grant from the non-profit Robert Wood Johnson. Currently, there are over
200 providers in Hawaii who receive quarterly updates of the Prescribing Guide. We are writing for additional grant funding and until then, our mailing list
is closed.
